There is no 100% way to tell. The nicer and busier the restaurant, the less likely you'll encounter a problem. The tiny tiny stores that don't even have sit down (only take out), I try to avoid. You never know!

You can't but don't fret if the cat is good as chicken. Who cares? Any how we have a real over population of cats. So serving cats would help the cat population.

Are you kidding? This is kinda racist, but I'm gonna answer anyways. If your eating cat then wouldn't you know the texture is different, I mean you do often eat meat? Eating cat is illegal in the USA and chicken is very cheap anyways. Again....are you kidding!

I'm sure that cat muscle is more like red meat. So if you can tell the difference between beef and poultry, then you should be good. Now if you're ordering Mongolian beef........................:(
