No thanks. When I was little I had nightmares because of horror movies. Now, I don't anymore but they left me a bad taste.

Yes Siree! I was born in Morristown, Tennessee. Which is where Sam Rami & Co. made the first 'Evil Dead' movie. :-)
In the early 80s, lightning struck the cabin and it burned to the ground. There was a bridge to get to the area the cabin was located but this bridge wasn't very big/long. Only about 12 feet across. Now, there's a subdivision built where the cabin used to stand...LOL! Rami should do 'Evil Dead Subdivision' next...lol
Also, the town I live in now (Dalton, Georgia) is where Vincent Price's last horror movie was filmed. It was filmed under the name 'From A Whisper To A Scream' but changed to 'The Offspring' when released in the 80s. A couple of the houses used are in our 'historical district' as well as some of the 'civil war' locations from the movie. The movie itself was 3 or 4 seperate stories and the movie was very very bad! Not so bad it was good, just bad! lol The only good thing that came from 'The Offspring' was it gave director Jeff Burr the clout he needed to direct 'Stepfather 2', 'Pumpkinhead 2', 'Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw 3' and 'Puppet Masters 4 & 5'. I think he became the low-budget horror sequel king! If you ever run across a copy of 'The Offspring', the key word here is 'run'. RUN as far away from this piece of crap as you can. Vincent Price must've really needed the money...lol

I wish. I did go to a horror convention and met alot of actors from classic horror movies though. Such as Bruce Campbell, Tom Savini, the guy that played Hellraiser, and Linda Blair!!

in 1985 or 86 I went to the cemetery where the Night of the living dead was filmed ( my girlfriends grandfather was buried there) and her mom pointed out this fact and I looked
for anything that looked familiar but saw nothing.
She showed me the house too but we just drove by pretty slow. and I didn't see much
I drove by there again when a Pittsburgh radio show said they were filming a color version of night of the living dead
But they had put a couple of big fences up .
We went to the mall in Monroville where Dawn of the dead
was filmed but it had changed and there was only a tiny little
plaque that said filmed here in ... well you know.
