Faith in Evilution Par 2: My computer turned off by itself, it must be evolving!!!?

Question

I admite that I don't have a masters digree in Biology, but when people say they know evolution is real just because the witness a cell changing I have to LAUGH! Let's see, God created the universe in all it majesticy and yet when people see a cell change they say "well it couldn't be PROGRAMED to do that, it MUST be EVOLVING!!! Well people who say that, my question to you....is my computer evolving also??? Guess what, that cell you saw evolve...ALL cells can do that, just like ALL computers can usually shut down by them self.

At above answerer, yeah, the is the usual begining for religious terms.

Evolution does occur, but not in the extremities that they seem to think it does... To think our dogs will oneday be cats, and cats one day dogs just because they got bored with being what they were, is absurd. Nothing changes without an outside reason... and this is what anything beyond adaptation is.

Microevolution is barely even a type of evolution... it is simply breeding to different breeds (or in some cases species) together, in order to gain a new breed, or an old one that requires crossbreeding.

Everything adapts to survive, but nothing adapts without a reason.

Hmm, just like your Evolution part 3 question this one cant be awnsered because it dose'nt make sense. Changes in paterns in anything that lives proves only that it is alive (If that!! your computer isnt alive and many people think that virus aren't either). The alterations that prove evolution are changes in entire populations (population= a lot of individuals of the same species that live in the same place and can mate). Once a new caracteristic (a new gene) is settled in the population than you see evolution!!!

Really, study about Evolution.

I can understand where you are coming from, bro. I feel your pain, really i do. But you must understand that these people, these athiests, can argue much better than you so you better come up with either a better argument or, like every other good christian, admit that faith is a personal thing and they must experience it to know what it's all about. I mean, what kind of argument is that exactly?! Confusing "evolve" with "shutting down"?! It's laughable.

My computer does that too, but I'm more inclined to think it's full of dust and overheating.

If you think a cell changing is evidence of evolution, you need to go back to school, unless, perhaps, by "change" you mean have a larger percentage of its offspring survive because they're better adapted to their environment. But that's a little more than mere changing, isn't it? It's looking at the long term consequences of the change.

Oh, and it's ATHEIST, because the Greek root that means God is theos.

If god is so great, why can't he teach you how to spell? "admite" "digree" "majesticy" "athiest" I think you should spend less time reading the bible, and more time learning how to use the English language. That way, when you try to make fruitless arguments, you won't sound like a twelve year old.

You try comparing us to your kind in order to understand.... but what puts us above you filth is that we have the capacity of reason.... the ability to work things out for ourselves.
Unlike christians we do not automatically see a mystery and jump immediately to the first convenient conclusion....

You might not have evolved, but we have.... beyond your primitive level. We can manage thinking in more than two steps. Of course these ideas are totally above and beyond the capability of your neanderthal consciousness to comprehend..... so any further explanation would be futile right now.

I will instead deal with your prattling the way it should be dealt with.... and I would be surprised if you can even work that much out for yourself.
