Sanjaya should have been gone long before now. Maybe when he is more mature he would do better but not now. It is a total disservice and laughingstock keeping him on there. Votefortheworst does help to keep him there. I don't care about his "improvements". AI is about taking someone who can really sing and turning them into a superstar. Not someone who needs "improvement". They need to already have the talent. Not just look nice. I will definitely not be going to see the show when it is the top 10 tour. I will be too disappointed that someone else isn't there. I think we need to give those girls an earlier bedtime so they can't vote. Like that girl that wouldn't stop crying. That was STUPID.

The name of the show is American Idol not America`s Best Singer. Sanjaya could be that ! Back in the day when I was a teen there was a singer called Fabien who was a star! He also was the worst singer in the world. He sold millions of records.

Yes, I feel there is a place for him...you just watch he will not make it to the the top BUT someone will pick-up on him and make him a star. And the reason is there are no teen idols right now. In-Sinc, Back Street Boys, Micheal Jackson, and Britney are getting to old and no one has stepped up to the plate to replace those idols. The stage is wide open! The reason he has made it this far is because of this all the little girls are going crazy ...did you see the little girl the other night crying her eyes out over him. With the equipment they have Today anybody can sound GREAT...Probably even me. LOL

I personally am getting tired of all the sanjaya hubub that's been going on, but yes I think he should have been gone a long time ago.

in MY opinion he never deserved to be in the top twelve... far better singers and performers have been showed the door.
I have been a fan of the show since day one... I love the idea of the show, but really do you think that in the group that we have on the show now that we have a Kelly, Carrie or a Chris D. in the bunch?

Evidently there must be enough voters who like him enough to keep him on there. He is adorable and has that beautiful smile and looks that the teenies really like. I thought his performance was better than it has been, but I think Stephanie Edwards should have stayed, but she didn't get enough votes.

I do think he belongs, last week was his best performance of the year. Improvement is a great sign!! I don't put much stock into the votefortheworst website. The fact is that he has a fan base and that is why he is still on.
