First and foremost, the partison fighting must end. The current gridlock in our Congress is, certainly, not the ideal method to resolve any issues in a manner that is in the best interest of our nation and its citizens. It would appear that these political leaders have forgotten that this is what they were elected to do. Only by working together, will our "best and brightest" political leaders, and I use this term loosely, ever be able to find the best solutions to any of the many major problems facing our nation.
