The biggest I think I want to go is 6g. I've read a few places that gauging back down is possible if initially stretched correctly. Have you guys had any success with this, or know anyone that has?

Yes...I have stretched both regular skin and cartilage with gauges and in order to make them go back down u have to begin letting them go back by unstretching them by downgrading ur gauges. Its just the opposite of how u got them that way.

i used to have mine stretched pretty big. i could fit a lighter in my ear. its been about 4yrs since i had anything in there and it shrink down to about the size of a pencil. so i hope that give you an idea of what to expect.
