I'm sure that isn't the definition. And I'm sure they are not all like that- Some may be, but it's almost certain that just as many conservatives are like that too.
I'm fed up with people putting down others with no good reason. Can you give me a good reason why liberals deserve the brunt of your political frustration, anger and intolorance? What have they done to deserve it?
Don't you think that persuading people to look down upon minority (in particular- rational political) groups, is the kind of thing that Hitler would have done?
Everyone in a group is different and not everyone stands for the exact same things, so how can you be so cruel- picking on people for doing what they believe is to be the best thing for their country?

because stereotypes are born out of 2 conditions:
1) the stereotype is true for a majority of the group.
2) someone from the group gets big media attention for actions which become the group stereotype
liberals get a lot of crap from conservatives because a lot of what they have to say is very easy to pick at, and republicans/conservatives will take advantage of that.
not nearly as many conservatives are like that...they're conservatives. they like the way things are and dont want change. that IS their deffinition.
when the hell did hitler come into play?
everyone IS different, i'll agree. but people who think other peoples differences in opinion are wrong will say so. and its often VERY easy to point out this that and the other belief held by liberals and say it's a stupid idea...thats why liberals get bashed :D

I think it is ok to disagree - if it don't we wouldn't be America would we?
I am a Conservative - you are right, both sides stereotype and that is too bad.
I don't think including Hitler was needed - why did you have to do that? (just kidding).
