Now that I've got your attention, I'll ask my question: what, if any, are the limits of Congress' subpoena power?

We have discussed concerns over possible overreaching by the President in the context of surveillance, etc. So is there a similar concern regarding Congress abusing its power? Why or why not?

Sadly, there is no limit to what Congress can subpoena someone over. Expect to see lot of 'hearings' in the next year that are nothing but political drama.

Yes they can, but unless you ate a WMD salad and had hash cakes with whipped cream for dessert, they probably wouldn't waste the ink.

Democracy is a wonderful thing, you know you have the right to vote them out if they're getting too heavy. Probably best stick to steak or spaghetti carbonara in future.
