It doesn't "produce" salt. The body is 80 % water and the water has electrolytes dissolved. Na (sodium) is 140 mmol/liter and chloride (Cl) is 103 mmol/liter. When we sweat we excrete water along with these electrolytes. When the water evaporates it leaves the salts NaCl and other electrolytes on the surface of the skin.

The body 'rejects' excess of salt from the body in the form of sweat, and urine along with water.
Salts in the body is known as elecrolyte, and is very necessary for the functioning of body. Body does not produce it. So, you eat salt in lots of your foods. But salt in large amounts is also fatal.

Yes! when you sweat and the sweat dries up, there will be salt on your body. And but to be straight foward, people who have salt on their body are not-so clean... the person must bathe oftenly!
