Why this is the golden rule?

This is the golden rule because if everyone treated others the way they would like to be treated everyone would be happy. And the world would be golden and we would all live happily ever after......ad nauseum...

because it is the most uncomplicated rule to follow ,it is the rule of all rules which people that believe in,are on there way to a general understanding a basic concept of a great rule which mankind has decided it to be before all rules, which is a great rule to start with if no other,if you are good to others generally good is done unto you ,if you are mean is done unto you, maybe not to day it will happen, do unto others not expecting with out strings attracted

If we all followed the golden rule there would be no need for other rules, commandments or laws. No one would be in prison or hurting from the thoughtless actions of others. We would live in a Utopian society.
I try to always live by this law. I am polite to salespeople, other drivers (usually), waiters, etc. I even remember to say thank you to the garbage man. Do you really want to put a smile on someone's face? Tell your garbage man thank you!

I know a million things I would want certain women to do unto me, but If I did unto them I would end up in jail doing the choo choo with bubba.

It has to do with not obtaining bad Karma.. "what goes around comes around"..We all should follow the Golden rule so there won't be so much misery in the world.

You might teach them something to do back to you and if it is bad then you might not like it and if it is good then you know you will, but what you do comes back to you 10 times over most of the time in one form shape or another

Well you don't want to be treated like **** right? so what it means is if you treat everyone they way in which you would like to be treated you will get it back yourself but i have found that this isn't allways the case. but often then not its does work.

its is a great rule to have in life....but unfortantly in some cases....you can't except miricals to happen....but otherwise a great rule and everyone should follow by this rule....
