First of all, I am not generalizing and saying ALL Democrats. Just the ones in congress who are supporting the troop pull out. The other nite I watched a tv interview with John Kerry who admitted that troop pull-out is a mistake and that he is NOT for it. Hillary Clinton echoed the same sentiment an interview I read with her.
If prominent Democrats like Clinton and Kerry are saying troop pull-out is a mistake, is this proof that the others in Congress (like Pelosi) are willing to use America's failure just to nail Bush?

Well, the Democrats have done EVERYTHING to try to bring down President Bush. And unfortunately, the war in Iraq will be mainly what Bush will be remembered on.
If they make Iraq look like a blunder they will have succeeded in what they wanted to do. Which is bring down Bush at the expense of our troops and national security

If we fail in Iraq, and they can get the troops out before, or during the Presidential election, than that makes them "right". They can say see we failed, because of Bush. Then they can say but we saved 1000s of lives and dollars by bringing the troops home. Thats their big plan to regain the White House.

yes, the only reason they want to pull out the troops is to ruin Bush's presidency and set themselves up for 2008. But what they are really doing is setting themselves up for a landslide defeat in either 2008 or 2012.......just wait and see

You've got to know that Pelsoi absolutely HATES Bush, and she admitted that publicly and she also said she would get revenge against this administration. I'm telling you right now, that this monster #itch is behind this crap. I believe she planned the entire thing to get even with GB.
Anyone with a right mind has to know you CANNOT tell a date when you're going to pull your troops out. The insurgents would be ready to invade Iraq. Yeah, Pelosi hates Bush so much, she'd even risk the lives of thousands of military to prove she could stand up to him.

The democrats are invested in defeat. I think a few of the antiwar crowd would strap bombs on themselves to secure defeat and get a win for dems in 08'

the democrats are a very confused and unfocused bunch -they are everybody who doesnt fit into the republicans "box".
so you have this mess of a party called democrats - each having differing opinions of how things should be done -which is okay if you have 2 or 3 major issues you can agree on which apparently they don't. they have 2 or 3 minor issues they agree on so they work on sssmaller issues ignoring the majority of their constituents

They know the region was dangerous and unstable BEFORE we went to Iraq! They know troops have to stay, yet they will lie outright and say they want the troops out!

They are invested in Our failure. They hope when conservatives fail they will regain power. They cannot get power by honesty and truth . Their ideas are almost non existent. When they get one it is not in our nations interest to proceed with it.
