Exactly my point, Roman. What is religious truth? It's not truth and it cannot, therefore, be honest. The people who advocate religious truth are obviously dishonest people. Shouldn't there be exception made to exclude demonstrably dishonest candidates?

In order to accomplish your goal (if you're talking about the U.S., BTW) you'd have to amend the Constitution. The U.S. Constitution, as it is currently written, prohibits any kind of religious test as a qualification for holding office.

What is "religious truth"? There are as many "truths" as there are religions. It will not be democratic to bar people with some point of view which we do not like, be it religious or secular. It is up to us to discern the message we receive from such person and decide whether we will allow him to enter the political sphere by simply voting him out.

That's a great idea...why don't we just exclude anybody with any kind of belief from voting in the election. I'll just send my dog to vote for a canidate...dog don't have any beliefs. Are you freaking kidding me. It amazes me the way people think sometime. I don't agree with any of you God hating pieces of .........but everyone in this country has a right to their opinions and to vote for whom ever they choose. It's called democracy.

No. Let them express their beliefs. If you don't like the beliefs or disagree, then vote for someone else.
