is it left to the tax payers,
or do superheros have their own insurance?

The tax payers we have to pay for everything else. I wouldn't mind to pay for a superhero to kick some criminal butt since they are allowed to get away with murder.

Marvel came out with a comic mini-series called 'Damage Control' on the late 80s, early 90s. It's about this company that's hired to fix all that stuff. I'm hazy on the business details, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere...

insurance...that's why we don't see too many superheros anymore.. the premiums were too steep...
