It's no simple task, installing a new keyboard on a laptop.

1. remove the top molding, or on some laptops the top strip above the keyboard which snaps into place and easy to break when trying to remove. Once removed it will expose the three screws holing the keyboard in place.

2. There are three tinny screws at the top of the keyboard holding it in. They must be removed.

3. pull the keyboard up from the top and do it slow because behind the keyboard there is a ribbon cable that's very delicate that connects the keyboard to the laptop.

4. once you have the keyboard pulled away from the laptop you must remove the ribbon cable, very gently, from it's slot behind the keyboard. Once you have done that you can slide the keyboard out of the lower slots and thus removing it.

5. To install new one just reverse the procedure.

** That ribbon cable is very thin and delicate..
