the red blood cell does not have any nucleus which means there is no DNA...
blood, on the other hand, would consist of the white blood cell...and white blood cells have nucleus...so thats y RBC cannot be used to carry out a DNA test...

Whole blood contains White and red blood cells. Only cells with a nucleus contain DNA. Red blood cells do not have a nucleus therefore no DNA.

When a red blood cell develops it has a nucleus (where DNA is stored in a cell) and later the nucleus is removed in order to make more room for more hemogolbin in each red blood cell, the material that makes bloods colour of either red or blue depending of whether its in a artiery or vein.

red blood cells have no nucleus and it is within the nucleus that DNA is. However blood samples contain a mix of cells not purely red blood cells, for example they have white bllod cells such as T cells and b cells, antigen presenting cells such as marcophages.

no nucleous no dna
so not possible for a test

Human RBCS do not have nuclei and therefore, no DNA.
