At times we dream about deceased relatives or friends simply because we miss them. These dreams may be disturbing but most likely are a form of wish-fulfillment or are based on memory through which we relive old experiences. Some people believe that in dreams they meet up with the deceased on the inner planes and engage in "real" interactions with them. It is normal to miss and long for the people that we loved and that have left the physical body. Therefore, it is not surprising that they will pop up in our dreams from time to time.

Some people (myself included) believe that they are astral visits from the person that has passed.
I have dreamed of my mother several times and each time it has been openly known and accepted that she was dead in the dream, yet she was there with us participating in whatever was going on, or sometimes just observing.
Either way, I always woke feeling like we had spent time together. It's nice.

I don't know that it's bad, but when I go fishing I always seem to have my Grandfather there. Not a dream, as if I'm asleep, but when I'm wide awake! He has been gone for over seven years, but I can't get him out of my head. Not that I mind him being there, but "Don't bait through the head", and "Don't cast near the weeds", in your mind starts to get old after a little while. I don't dream much, maybe that is why I get daytime visits. Luck to you and Ciao!

some translate it to mean that the spirit of the person is with you, and since you, for whatever reason, don't acknowledge them in your conscious state, they are making theirself known in your dreams.
