Is it safe to assume your dogs collar needs tightening?

I think it strongly depends on the size of the fingers, but I've heard tighter is better...It needs to be felt but still enough room to wiggle around a bit. :)

If he can slip the collar, then yes. I think what someone else said is correct, two fingers. That's what we do. Except we do my husbands two fingers. It would be three of mine. :o)
