You know what kills me is that Stephanie Edwards had one bad week and she got voted off (I think she did better than most). Meanwhile that curly head, gay Sanjiyah has been terrible the whole time and he never once got booted.
That really bothers me, but like the judges say "It's up to America to vote, and it's girls like Ashley (the little girl who was crying all night), that have that fool staying around". If that boy don't go home next week I give up becuase it's not right that other good talent is leaving the show.

I'll be voting for Sanjaya next week. Simon Cowell has threatened to quit the show if Sanjaya wins the competition - that's all the motivation I needed to know that Sanjaya ought to be the next American Idol.
Listening to Howard Stern, some of his callers claim to have voted for Sanjaya over 700 times on vote night. I think it's hilarious and that more people should join in on the fun.

I disagree. Maybe your opinion of horrible, and your local radio stations opinion of horrible isn't someone elses opinion of horrible. Maybe his CD wouldn't flop, and maybe he wouldn't fall flat on his face. There's so much "studio magic" now that they could easily make this guys CD sound amazing. He would just suck live, kind of like Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Ashlee Simpson, etc etc etc. If you are genuinely concerned about talented musicians, stop watching American Idol, go out and buy CDs and go to shows, find the talented musicians and celebrate their music. If you think about it, American Idol is the biggest show on TV, why aren't the winners CDs always the biggest selling albums? Kelly Clarkson took awhile, and Carrie Underwood did as well, but they are no where near the scale of how many people and TVs they were on before. So essentially no one is buying their CDs compared to how many people voted for them. Sanjaya won't win, there are too many people who actually care about American Idol to let it happen, so don't worry. In fact if you want to blame someone, blame the judges for letting him get this far, you know people like Howard Stern are going to encourage voting for this guy.

Kind of reminiscence of last season's Taylor Hicks. I still can't believe that he won. It is all just a big popularity contest that has gotten out of control and it isn't even a singing contest any more. I still think his sister was better than him. He did sound better when he auditioned and then kind of just went downhill from there. It is a shame because he is only 17 years old and to hear the judges every week tell him how horrible he was is just a shame. Hopefully he will be gone soon and then he wont have to go through any more humiliation.

Stop writing these pleas and start voting for every candidate but him and not just for one candidate 100 times.
