For a formal party I would advise keep your makeup neutral - but glamourous.
Try a subtle smokey black liner with mascara and a smudge of chocolate brown around the rim of your eye, blend up and out in a slightly cat-eye shape.
Brush on some blusher on the tops of your cheekbones and take it back to your hairline - dont go any further down than the centre of your eye.
Keep lips nude and shiny rather than glossy - don't want to clash with the gold gown!

Keep it simple and just make your eyes pop! Don't try and match shades with your dress - that would be a bit out of place at a formal event.

depends on ur skin and eye colour...i always wear earthy warm browns and shimmery pearl with gold dresses...wear a clear or oyster colour lipgloss and you will look like a movie star!! Good luck x x

I would say go light on the paint. Beauty is or it is not, painted faces hide the truth that might be.
Light lipstick, some light eyes, just relax and be yourself, or be someone else.
Clown noses are funny.

It all depends on your skin tone. Bronze makeup would probably look best.

it depends also on your age, and skin and hair color.. wearing too much can make you look older and harsh. when you're young wearing too much ill make you look clownish or look like you're trying too hard for attention.

look online and match with your color hair and age.
