I'm planning to send a small parcel there over to a friend but I'm not sure of what to do or how to do to send a parcel overseas. Yes, it's my first time sending a parcel/mail overseas. Can anyone advice and help me? Like, perhaps a short guide will be nice. Thank you :) I don't mind if the delivery time is long, as long as the rate to pay for sending is cheap will do.
I guess it should be cheap yea? Since it's a small parcel.

the cheapest to send a small parcel is by going to the nearest singpost outlet near ur home or office. q-up on the appropriate lane as indicated..otherwise u can ask the staff. make sure u have the address n zip code ready. they will pack ur parcel according to the type of stuff u mail. u nd to declare the item inside the parcel. u might nd to buy a box ..dependin on the size of item... the staff there will educate u further. they will help u weigh... and if u wan it cheap... dont go for registered mail..jus go for normal air mail. it will take approximate 10days to 14 days for parcel to reach USA.

Go to your post office & they will give you a small customs form to fill out as to what is in in the parcel. Ask for the the cheapest price or way of sending it. They will help you. I send parcels all of the time to the UK from the US & also receive parcels back so it's done that way on both sides of the pond.

Step 1 Write the address on the package
Step 2 Go to the post office
Step 3 Pay whatever they say you pay, they will weigh it and depending on how big and heavy it is thats how much it will cost.
Then its sent!

Fedex is the best. It might be quite expensive but the package will arrive 100% on time. I had tried it several times and it is found all over the world.
You might find cheaper ones but what about its credibility? You might be saving but ending in a disaster.
