If we change the locks on a car, my friend's ex could still break the window and start the car

Unless this guy is a complete idiot, I doubt he'd risk jail time for a 1999 Honda Accord.

And yes, any good lock smith can replace it for about $80.00.
plus parts.

yes the ignition can be change in just about any car except for the ones with the microchips in the key ,or you could just go out and buy the auto start and keyless entry for the car if it doesn't get the signal from the auto start key it won't start at all

if that is the case you don't have to replace the ignition,that car has an imobilizer system,bring all the keys to your local dealer and have them rerprogram the imobilizer as if you lost all keys,any outstanding keys will not start the car and therfor useless,there will be a charge for this service

yes, youncan change out the keyed ignition switch on any car. You can purchase it at Auto Zone . Putting it in...unless you're really good get a professional.

take it to a chevy dealer and change the whole thing in for something that is actual reliable
