It is great to see this movement. Are our young people realizing the importance of church and family values? Will this positive movement continue to grow? What can the loder people do to support our new generations who care enough to educate themselves in American Family Values???

Several reasons-generally nice people go to church and more young adults are looking for others to interact with. Also, for many it`s simply searching for something to believe in. Growing up in todays environment, where more and more is permissable, they`re wondering what it`s all about, and the church offers answers.

I love these questions from people looking for other sheep to chime in about how wonderful church is and without it there are no family values, yada yada yada. And the there are those who automatically equate a mention of church as meaning christian or Jesus. Get a life! If you need a group of people from a church (any church) telling you what good morale values are, then you are uneducated and ignorant and probably should not be raising children at all! Folks, start using your minds and don't be a lamb who follows leaders who preach holiness and religious piety. Follow your mind and what common sense tells you is the "Right thing to do" You will most likely find that most people all believe in basic rights, and wrongs and what is good or evil. Watch out for extremists in ALL religions and try to work on improving yourself, not preaching a religion to others. Whew... so much for my own soapbox homily. Take care, stay healthy and promote love towards all men and women before you promote one particular belief over someone else's. Thank you!

What do you mean by "church"? There are several different sorts of churches. Young people seem drawn to the churches that feature rock "worship" music and use drama to entertain the congregation. The message is often more about how to have a great life, than what the Bible actually says about man and God. Church doesn't have a monopoly on family values - many "unchurched" people value what is best for their families. Young people are not necessarily going to church because they want to please God.

I think this is great as well and should be happening more often and i wish you hope it continues to grow and keep on happening. We all need God and his help to get through things in life so why not turn our lives and hearts over to him and teach our young people and kids family values and morals and how to live a good and godly life that will be blessed. I am so glad that people and children and young people are seeing their need for church and for God.... This is a good thing and I am all for it! With all the negative and bad things happening in this crazy messed up world with immorality and sin ruling in homes and in lives and in the hearts of people We need God and the church and good things to learn and do to influence our children and the next generation for the greater good. I wish the schools would teach more on this positive way of living.

I don't see this as positive at all. This is a step backwards. People are supposed to progress from superstition to rationality, not revert to superstitious beliefs. This has nothing to do with American values, because this is a secular country.

Yea, I was raised in the church and let me tell you something about those involved young people at youth groups and going to church camp and praising jesus okay? They have sex, do drugs, drink regularly and don't really care about the church. Why are they at these groups? Well, it makes them look good to their religious idiot parents and thus gives them more trust and freedom to have sex, do drugs and drink regularly while mommy and daddy are turning a blind eye in good faith.
