Some of my profoundly deaf friends say that they do hear when they dream, but some say that they don't. I can hear when I dream, but I was not born deaf.

Maybe a little if they weren't born deaf. But because they never heard anything I don't think people born deaf could.

Yes I knew a deaf guy in high school and he told me he dreams with sound. It's just like the blind...can they see in their dreams...i think so!

if they were born deaf, i doubt it because they are used to no sound. if they became deaf later, yes they hear their dreams as well as their thoughts

dreams have images rather than sounds.
Some of deaf people have dreams in which the characters communicate via sign language
