Just wait a year. In most places home values are declining! The poor economy and loss of decent jobs are leading to a great number of foreclosures. Wait till the housing market bottoms to get the most for your money! ;-)=

Who said it was bad to buy a house? If that is what is on your mind...to buy, get out there and start looking. You will at least learn first hand what is available to you, what you can afford. Time waits for no man.
Don't forget that purchasing is a hedge against inflation, it's better to invest in you than your landlord, and you never know...that perfect home you have been dreaming of is out there right now waiting for you. Create some happiness and exitement for yourself and get out there and put your toe in the water! There is much to learn, and people to meet!

Now is just as good a time to buy as any other time... you just have to negotiate a decent price... you will NEVER go wrong buying Real Estate... since it is a hedge against inflation.

It's a great time where I am....housing costs are lower they they have been and interest rates are great.
