Haha, I’m serious. I sit by the kitchen at work, and over the course of the day I’ve listened to the ‘teaspoon’ sounds, not through choice I have you know. A stressed person (who I know personally) stirs with in an erratic and quick fashion, where as a lazy (slacker) of a worker tends to stir slow and almost noiseless. So how do you stir your tea? It speaks volumes I tell you.

I hardly ever drink any tea and when I do - no sugar. Coffee, also without sugar. No need to stir, only shake (to get the grounds fall to the bottom) And why get a spoon dirty, right?

So my coffee-making is soundless.
Based on your theory, we may conclude that I'm
a very, very lazy person!
And I am!

(congrats! great theory!)

I stir both fast and medium (sometimes slow). I guess it depends on my frame of mind and it's less about my personality. Then again, I need to take note of what I do more often. I think more often a brisk stir. Cool observation. I'm gonna pay attention here at work!

I stir my tea slowly and try not to let the teaspoon touch the sides of the cup....I was taught it's bad manners to be a noisy stirrer.

Sooo, I guess (according to you) I'm a "lazy" person ha!

I don't drink tea of coffee, but I do drink hot cocoa. I always stir slowly. People who stir any beverage with abandon only slops it all over the table.

:)

Hmmm... I take my coffee with sugar only; not much stirring required, so it's hard to say. I don't often drink hot tea; I'm from the southern U.S., so I'm one of those vile people who actually likes ICE in it ;-)

You may be on to something - my hubby only uses heavier teaspoons and insists on stirring the hard way - clockwise!
