I assume this is hypothetical, but I would be suspicious of anyone carrying that much money in a bag. Anyone conducting legitimate business would have a bank draft, cashier's check, etc. I would think I had found drug money and not say anything to anyone.

Honestly i think i would hand it in to the police. Its a bit too much money to just go missing. If it was only a couple of hundred i'd keep it though.

I would hand it into the police simply because I would be too scared to keep it knowing it might be dodgy or that someone had seen me pick it up, hopefully it wouldn't belong to anyone and after 3 months it would be mine to do with as I please.

I would have to keep it. I know it's wrong, but anyone carrying that kind of money in a bag can't have had good intentions with it anyway. I would start interntionally adopting.

Keep it and share some of it out with my family to take the financial pressure off them a bit.

Hand it in to the police. Get a receipt. If unclaimed within 3 months, it's yours. Legally!

Hand it to police, if no one claims it, take it back.
I would save for future use.

I would look the papers to know whom its belonged to; if it comes from a robbery, I should bring back!
