He's not married and lives alone.
In answer to those people who say he's gay - please note, he's never come out or confirmed those rumours. Yes, I know he's not denied them, but isn't it a more dignified reaction just to ignore them?
He and his sister were interviewed in the Times in December 2006 and she openly states that "People ask me if Colin is gay. It’s an extremely rude question to ask a stranger. Colin isn’t gay, but either way I don’t see it as a negative or positive thing."

Being a great athlete doesn't necessarily translate to the ice. Ice Hockey world championships, your country has to qualify for them Mexico is getting better but I don't think they qualified this year. For years, I have wondered why the Dutch who are among the best skaters in the world are somehow not better at hockey .. and yet they have many more years of on-ice experience than most any African .. but yes a lot of it also has to do with the fact that they have other priorites such as survival.

I heard he did love someone once, but due to his training regime he could not hold a relationship - ever since then he has been single. Maybe he missed his chance at true love and can not face the thought of being with someone he doesn't love as much. Whether he is gay or not is completely irrelevant. Do you fancy him????
