For all Lacoste enthusiasts?

Is Lacoste worth the money? I see their polos cost $85, but I'm not sure that their quality is any better than anyone else; would I just be buying into the cache of wearing the label, at this point, or does it depend on where I'm buying my Lacoste from? There's more than enough illegitimate Lacoste to go around ...

I think Lacoste is downright stupid. I hardly think the quality is much better than any other polo, but the label nowadays means everything. I'm not into the preppy polo bull. But yes, you would just be buying it to wear the label and rub it in peoples faces that you have money. That's the only point of it.
