how do i reach flannery in pokemon emerald
she is the 4th gym leader-fire type

i have already defeated all the previous gym leaders and i am inside the gym but i cannot reach her through the water chutes becuz of smoke.please help

First of all, head left and up and go into the hole by the corner.
Next, u should have a double battle. After that, go into either hole near the ledge.
Then, top left hole.
Due up.
Then the one near the middle. Then the first one you come across. After that, head to the one in the bottom right. Jump one ledge and head into the next hole. Kading! You reached flannery!

You'll need to go and defeat team aqua and magma where you'll meet archie and maxie for the first time. Then at the top of the moutain, head to the south where it was previously blocked and you'll find yourself heading down the mountain and face the trainers, find items etc. You'll find the gym on the west side of town.

You should beat the earlier gyms or unlock that area.
