If you don't have a topic, that makes it difficult. If all else fails, why don't you just right about the last book your read or your favorite author or poet. That seems appropriate for an English paper. You should really found out with there is a topic though and then maybe ask another question. You just didn't supply enough information in this question.

If you the teacer did not give you any topics to choose from. choose something simple like, When I bake a cake. It is not always about the topic of the story. but how it is told.
