I love wearing heels, especially for a formal function but I'm tall without them. Does anybody else have......

How do you get round it as I feel that a nice pair of shoes finishes the outfit?

I have the same problem. I'm 5'10 without the heels. And I agree- a nice outfit just doesn't look 'finished' without heels- especially for formal functions. You know what? Just wear the heels. Who cares? Most women would kill for some height. Just enjoy it.

If it really bothers you, kitten heels convenient as they are usually around 1 or 2 inches and for the last two years, they've been increasingly sexy and dressy. You can get them with sequins on them etc.

You'll see alot of guys around now with tallr women they love a nice pair of legs! I'm nearly 6ft without heels ad i wear them all the time! I do have some kitten heels that i found on ebay - pink coconut the shops called that are only 1/2 inch! for the days when i want to be a bit shorter! They still make me feel sexy!

Im 5"10 and I use to wear heals as I had the same problem. Now its not that much of an issue cuz there are plenty of nice flat shoes around that can look smart and elegant. If you don't want to stop wearing heels don't feel that you have to, tall women are sexy and you ask any short girl and they'll wish they were taller. Works both way tho, I'd love to be shorter.

I'm about 5'9/10 without heels and I wear heels same way. As long as I can walk in them I wear them! A lot of women would love to be tall and elegant, embrace your height!

I do feel more comfortable when I'm with people that aren't too much shorter than me, luckily my family are all tall but still. If I don't want to stand out too much then I will wear kitten heels.

I am a man who thinks women look outstanding in heels and a woman who's taller than me is not intimidating to me. I'm 5'9 and there are a lot of women taller than me. I think everyone is taller now than they used to be. I'm from the 50's and 5'9 was not tall but I see more and more people that are taller than me now. So I say go ahead and wear the heels. The 4" ones are really sexy.

Lol i have the same problem. I'm 5'10 without the extra height that shoes add, but i wear them anyways! they look good and they put a finish to your outfit. so i say wear 'em anyways. you always do have other options, flats, kiitten heels, sandals (nice ones, like naturalizer, not flip flops! lol) the bonus of being so tall, you get the 6 foot guys looking at you lol

I'm 5'10, I wear heels as well. Go for it. I have a few that are 4 inch and some that are 2. I don't seem to be able to wear anything higher than a 4, I'm too clumsy. I got into the habit when I was with my son's father, he's 6'8" and havn't stopped since.

wear them to make a statment 'cause you do when you wear them.

My friend is taller than her husband. She just wears nice flats or kitten heels so she doesn't tower over him. At 5"8, it's something she's had to do with most blokes in the past.

yea i am 5'6 without heel and i love wearing heels i get a new pair like every week and so who cares girlie wear your heels and look good and be glad that you do have height and know that even though you look tall in heel and will without them still so why not wear them and look good either way

Just because you're tall doesn't mean you should not wear heels that make you feel good (although 5-inch is pushing it). Stand proud and gravitate to the taller men! :-)
