record player and old albums? Do you enjoy a little "white noise" from time to time? If so, what are some of the albums and/or artist's that you listen to? I prefer classic country myself. A little Vern Gosdin, Charlie Rich, Don Williams. Some George Jones, Tammye Wynette, and Lynn Anderson......AND A WHOLE LOTTA MERLE HAGGARD!!!!!

I love the sound you get from a classic record! not like the digital sound of a cd. I have a huge collection of record from Pink Floyd to Olivia Newton John. Go the oldies!!!!

Yes, I do. Recently bought a Stanton ST100 . Still buy vinyls on ebay from time to time. Personally, I'm proudest of my Stiff Little Fingers 'Inflammable Material' from 1979 1st pressing, and my copy of Zep's 'Physical Grafetti.' I think I misspelled that, but I'm too tired to check. Oh, and also my Neil Young 'Trans.'

i never thought i'd ever get rid of my turntable and lps, but man, i've sold out. i'm tired of dealing with it. all my music is now stored on 2 ipods, one 30 gig and one 80 gig. i dock my ipod to run right through my stereo and it sounds great. i can take all of my music where ever i want, with no hassle. i did keep maybe 20 vinyls, but the rest i've sold or given away. from my collection and what i got from my pops i at one time had over 600 vinyl albums. but i'm done with em.

You left out Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Flatt and Scruggs. By the way, "Mama Tried" is one of my favorites.
