I been on practically all the rides at Blackpool - Pepsi Max is the best. Very good drop
Love Alton Towers:
Oblivion - My fav love it been on LOADS of times
Rita is really good
Nemisis is brill
Air is rubbish - yeah it is good for the experience and for you to pose like superman but its slow.
Lightwater Valley rides are rubbish. The ultimate is boring and not that good, just long.
The rides in DisneyLand Paris are great. Love Indiana Jones n space mountain or watever it is called. Pirates of the Carribean is brill, but thats coz I LOVE POTC!!!

only having ridden roller coasters in the uk i would have to say its a hard choice between alton towers and thorpe park.alton towers for rita queen of speed that ride my god its just an adrelin rush it shoots you out 0 100 in 2.5 seconds and scares the living daylights out of you but you have to keep riding it again then there is oblivion it leads you in to a false sense of security you think this is great then your tipped over the edge in your seat then the drop into a smoke filled tunnel i had to ride it 4 times before i totally got used to it i love nemisis its such a thrill ride the loops and turns and its a sheer adreleinin ride i agree with you about air and i dont ride it very often when im there the corkscrew is anothor ride i tend to avoid its 20 years old and feels it it moves you around in your seat and i found i came off with quite a few bruises so i tend to avoid that one as well.now thorpe park that is a great theme park home of stealth the sister ride of rita queen of speed at alton towers and built by the same swiss company it has had its nitrogen boosters tweaked for 2007 and goes even faster than 2006 it used to shoot you out at 0 80 in 2.5 seconds then up 205 foot and then drop you now it shoots you out at 0 83 in 2 seconds i dont notice the difference but others say its faster then you have nemisis inferno the same as nemisis as alton towers except it is slower and shorter i love that ride and its such a mind blowing ride the last ride would have to be colosus its the worlds first 10 looping roller coaster and its got a g force of 4.9 i think that ride is one of the best it twists and loops you throws you around in your seat and gives you such a buzz i cant get enough of it and i qeue hours just to ride the front its just one of those rides that is adictive it might not be the fastest ride at 83 mph but is one of the most extreme thrill rides ive ever been on

The best one I've been on, and I freely admit I haven't ridden many, is the Pepsi Max Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I believe when it first opened in the early nineties it was the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the world. You reach a maximum height of 235 ft (quite high when you're up there, I can tell you!) and then plummet towards earth at about 90 mph. The initial drop is the best bit, however. The ride is reasonably tame after this.

Dont know about the world but in the Uk here are the best:

1. Nemesis (Alton Towers) - Very fast my favourite ride ever

2. Oblivion (Alton Towers) - Vertical drop, feels really strange, scary but over in a few seconds

3. Pepsi Max (Blackpool) - Old ride but quite high, great views, not scary at all

4. Valhalla (Blackpool) - Didnt know anything about this ride until I went on it, its like a log flume in the dark with some special effects, you also go down backwards, I thought it was great

After going to quite a few theme parks along the east coast of the US I would have to pick Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster. The Millenium Force because it just gets your blood pumping. Top Thrill Dragster most people would think is not worth it to wait 3 hours for a 30 second ride but it will change your mind the first time you ride it. These rides are both at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. Check them out at http://www.cedarpoint.com/

Top Thrill Dragster, I totally thought it wouldn't live up to the hype.
Stood in line for around 3 hours, 40 minutes of which was to get front row and 30 minutes of which was because it broke down, but I'd jump in line with foreknowledge that the wait would be 5 hours.

The sacriest one i went on was the old Dreamlands wooden roller coaster in Margate, a real bone shaker of a ride with park benches as the seats with no safety straps and a brake man on a bycle seat to slow the wooden pallett around the curves!
Shame it closed down.

For a fun (not scary) old-fashioned wooden coaster, you can't beat The Beast at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio (just east of Cincinnati).

For thrills, I vote for coaster on top of the Stratosphere Tower on the strip in Las Vegas. A lot of coaster fans are gonna disagree with me on this, 'cause it isn't very fast (about 30 mph) but, man, it's 900 feet in the air!

I would have to say the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ride in Disney Land. I say this because Snow White has long been my favorite movie and the ride is like you are watching the movie. It has all the main scenes in the movie and it even is a little scary because the Evil Witch pops up and random times. I love Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Ride!!!!!!!

have a look at the official site and have a look http://www.stratospherehotel.com/las_vegas_stratosphere_ride.html
