The USA sponspored and made the internet..should it share control with the rest of the world as the so called governments of the world are demanding? Lets say it was china who designed and paid for the internet , or lets say its Iran controling the internet...will they not shut down the United states? and Israel?
Should the USA let it go?

The USA doesn't own or control the internet. The internet is so widespread that the only way to control it or shut it down would be to totally shut down the access points, ie the phone, wireless, and cable lines that people have to use to connect. Each computer that is connected and hosting information is part of the internet.

Sorry to say Imelda C is an idiot ARPA was the inception of the Internet and why should the USA relinquish control of anything and furthermore why should you concern yourself with our patriot act why not worry about your own government its probably a mess. You cant honestly be so naive as to expect privacy over the net using the Internet is like screaming off the top of a mountain anyone with ears can hear you. If it bothers you then don't use it if you have nothing to fear why worry.

This is a tool that was designed to bring the world together, not give the US another control mechanism...
