Why not? Nothing can stop the Heat when they are focused. I am a Heat fan myself. They are unstoppable when healthy. They have 2 great players and they have formidable chemistry. I think they have started to shape up now that Wadw is out for the remainder of the season. What more can the Heat do with D. Wade back on the court. Miami transforms itself in the post-season. They are a whole different team.
I can almost guarantee that the Heat are going to reach the Eastern Finals. The only threat in the East is Detroit. I think the Heat can pretty much take care of the rest. Remember, Shaq is no stranger to repeats. Do you remember his title run with the Lakers some years back?

I would like to start by reminding us some facts:
- Last year experts didn't expect them to past the 2nd round of PO because of teams like Chicago and the Nets,
- Last year people didn't expect them to reach the Eastern Finals,
- Then none expect them to beat the Pistons,
- Then 2 games into the Finals no one expect them to win it all,
Yet they are the reigning champions!!! I would never say it loud enough; you would be wise to take heed of the Heart of a Champion. And they are, or what!
Now, this is not last year, and things have changed, DWade is hurt and the Diesel is looking older than ever. But I like what one said, the Heat are a total different team during the PO. In fact the Diesel is like fuelled when PO time arrived, so we shouldn't sell them out that easily. It's true that even if DWade comes back he might not be at his best. However there is something that people fail to notice: they Pat Riley as coach, he might not be playing but he is good at what he's doing...Just count how many rings he has in his fingers then you'll understand. Last year NBA experts were arguing that the old core of the Heat would not be sufficient to stop younger and more vibrant teams like Chicago, yet Riley knew what he did by getting those guys. I'm sure he will adjust accordingly this year.
Now can they repeat, the chances are slim because of the pre-cited reasons but also others teams out there which must be very hungry [Pistons, Spurs and Mavs].I think Miami can do it if they keep focused and if DWade comes back at a good level and Shaq does what it does best: be the most dominant center in the league!!!
They CAN repeat, but chances are they won't!

Here's why, you still have the most dominate center (Shaq) in todays game and one of all time, and one of the best scorer/slasher/defenders in the league in Wade who will be back for the playoffs. You also have some veterans in Walker and Payton and Eddie Jones who've been leaders on their previous teams and are playing great supporting roles right now. And so good play from younger guys like Kapono and Haslim. This kind of talent will always give you a chance to win a championship. And remember Miami is in the Eastern Conference so Shaq can basically cruise all year until the playoffs.

They surely have of challenge, they have their huge 3, and their function gamers confirmed they might step up interior the Finals against OKC. If it wasn't for Chalmer's hustle performs and Battier/Mike Miller's take carry of three's, the warmth would possibly not have gained the Championship this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Plus, such as you mentioned, they have extra Ray Allen, which makes them stronger from 3-ingredient selection. whether, there are different solid communities in the two the East and West. anticipate Chicago to be a ingredient with a healthful D-Rose, and that i additionally anticipate the Indiana Pacers and 76ers will advance and flow a step as much as boot, on condition that they are youthful communities on the upward push. all of us comprehend who isn't interior the communicate...the Bobcats, Nets, Wizards, and Knicks. additionally, Boston is a extensive question mark on an identical time as Orlando is in rebuilding mode to boot.

They can. But they need Dwyane Wade to have a chance. But even with Dwyane Wade, the road to the trophy won't be cherry-picking.Yes, they have the pieces but teams like Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, Cleveland, Detroit, etc are hungrier than ever. And I think this would be the last chance for Shaquille to win the crown. Father Time is already knocking on his doors.

No way. Without a 100% Wade, they don't have a chance of beating the Western elite. Sure they might have a fighting chance against the Pistons or Cavs, but they won't be able to deal with whomever the west sends their way

Not at all! They are winning right now but once the post season starts which I don't think Wade will be back and even if he is back, they probably won't make it past the first round.

Yes, just look what they've done lately. They have won 9 of 10 games without Wade and Shaq is playing well. If Wade can come back and be effective then I see no reason why they can't repeat.

Well, if they do make it to the finals...Mavericks will be prepared, but I don't think they will make it because it'll take a while for d-wade to start producing the way he was before. Also the cavs and pistons are looking good.

With all those injuries, no chance in hell. Its would be a miracle if they ever pass the second round of playoff.
