Find the most relaxed position for your body while inserting the tampon. Raising one of your legs on a footstool or on the rim of a toilet makes the process easier.
Instructions
STEP 1: Buy tampons that are appropriate to your menstrual flow: light, average or heavy. STEP 2: Wash your hands with soap and hot water. STEP 3: Remove the tampon from the wrapper. STEP 4: Slide the applicator a few inches into the vagina (tampon side in), but not so far that you can't hold the outer of the two tubes that make up the applicator. STEP 5: Push the inner tube into the outer tube, releasing the tampon into the vagina. STEP 6: Slide the applicator out. STEP 7: Make sure the tampon's string remains outside the vagina. STEP 8: Wrap the applicator in toilet paper and throw it away. Do not flush it down the toilet. Tips & Warnings
Buy the lowest absorbency that works for you without leaking.
Insert the tampon gently; don't jam it in.
Wear a minipad or panty liner - not a tampon - during the lightest days of your period.
Tampon packages have directions inside. Read them if you need help.
Use a small amount of petroleum jelly if the tampon does not go in easily.
You shouldn't be able to feel the tampon in your body. If you can, you may not have inserted it far enough. Remove it and try again with a new tampon. Try inserting the applicator a little further into the vagina before pushing the inner tube of the applicator into the outer tube.
Change your tampon every 4 to 8 hours to avoid leakage.
To avoid toxic shock syndrome, do not keep the same tampon in for more than 8 hours.

that is possible--it occurs continuously (quite in case you utilize those relatively small tampons.) Straddle the bathroom such as you will the showering room and push. If there is one already in there you will possibly desire to be waiting to sense it or the string on an identical time as doing this. do not panic. purely push and sense around to tug it out. If not something is in there, the reason you have resistance is which you would be tensing up. attempt to loosen up or lie down on an identical time as attempting to insert one. each female has had the adventure of having a tampon in part approaches. do not panic. loosen up. Or attempt a pad.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding this right in you saying that you want someone else to try and insert it for you. Did I understand that right?

As for inserting them, what I had to do when I used to wear them on a regular basis is to either lubricate myself to make it slide in better, or take and slide the tampon one of my other fingers to get it in to place. I no longer wear tampons due to medical issues not connected to the tampon itself.

I hope this is of some help.

Unwrap the tampon.

Open legs in a comfortable position...sit or stand

Relax your muscles down there.

Spread your lips with your free hand.

Leaving cardboard in place, insert the cotton-end into vagina...about half way. (push it in like you're aiming for the other side of your body...not up)

While holding the main part of cardboard...push the end where the string is.

Pull cardboard out and discard.

Note:
If this still feels rough.... lubricate, use pads or use a "gentle glide" tampon.
EDIT:
I'm sure you already know to wash hands?
