Yes. I signed a bunch of waivers to try an experimental use of an existing medication for a condition I have back in 2000 and it saved my life.
On a lighter note, I am the guinea pig every time my husband gets the idea in his head that he can cook.

I was in a teaching hospital in Cleveland with an oxygen content of 25%! This is not good. I wouldn't let them put a trachea in so I signed papers letting them give me massive dosages of prednisone for an experiment. It must have worked here I am answering this question!

Oooh yes, of a roommate's cooking. Mostly they were declicious, unusual creations, but sometimes they turned out just awful and I had to eat them just the same out of politeness. Still a good tradeoff imo, 'cept I also had to do the dishes (what a mess!).

yes i went on a trial drug for immune suppression after my transplant,that was nearly 4 yrs ago and all is good and i don't have to be on any type of steroids which have higher Chance of side effects

Yep! My friend got her body piercing license, and asked if I wanted a nose piercing. I did, and got it for free. Actually, she did a really good job!
