a) make a 'cape' out of your coat, run really quick and ask everyone 'Is my cape flying out like Batman'?
b) put lots of bread clips on the spokes of your bike and jam a lolly stick there to make a motorbike noise?
c) make a big den behind the sofa with your Mum's old curtains and some upside down chairs?
d) or dig your own school uniform out and try to get back into school?

The den behind the sofa, definitely. In fact I actively encourage my own kids to do the same!
You forgot zipping up your parka right to the top and prtending to be a periscope... :o)

mud pies
take a pie tin
turn on the water faucet by the house
play in the water until there's a mud puddle
make mud pies - pile mud in the pie tin
smash all the water out
turn the tin over on a dry spot
make another mud pie
when you have several pies setting out to dry in the sun
wash off under the faucet or hose,
or just go inside and get a bath

I didn't really do any of those...but I remember playing outside until the streetlights came on...taking a drink of water from the hose...playing on my swing-set...climbing trees...sliding down the stairs on my butt...cherry Kool-Aid and peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches...wishing I was a boy so I could quickly go behind a tree to pee instead of having to go inside to do it.

We use to take cards from the deck and use clothes pins to put them on the spokes and when we rode it would make this neat flapping noise, or we would step on aluminum cans and dance on the patio and thought that was neat, I could go on all day....â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥
