I have thought about it and the main gist of the budget is this: it has actually punished the poor (I think with the intention of getting downshifters etc back into the labour force), it has added to the labyrinth of tax credits which are always badly administered and doesn't work, and the 2 p thing is such a load of BS because you will be paying huge amounts more when the council tax is boosted soon. The budget lacks imagination, it rewards the ever-increasing levels of incompetence and corruption in the public sector, and it is a killer for entrepreneurs. Two thumbs down from me!

Another con
nothing changes by the time the new tax rules apply they will have slipped in some new taxes to rob the lot off us and more
We might as well face it unless we do somthing pretty radical in this country, we will hit the disaster wall for millions of English people.
It has got to the point where you get worried about looking at the news, polititians seem to live in cloud cuckoo land with no thought for the citizens of this country.
Let us all try to vote for a party that puts us first at the general election (that rules out the big three)

It`s a total con, what he`s given with one hand he`s taken with the other....Still if that`s what people want, they will vote for the waring con men yet again..and get all they deserve. The sooner we have a change of government the better.

It was a budget.
No more no less.
Now let's get on with our lives.
Mine's a pint.
The extra penny will come from the children's money box as usual.
I get a drink.
They learn money management
