about a month ago my itunes was wiped adn replaced with my sisters playlist from her account. So i left it and downloaded i-tunes onto my laptop (windows XP). I was wondering if i plugged my ipod into the laptop would itunes erase all my songs or sync them all onto the new itunes? I really don't want to mess it up because i have like over 400 songs and i can't live without my ipod but i do want to put a whole bunch more on there but there is no way i can. Please help! Also if it helpsi have a 5th generation video ipod 30g.

The best thing to do is have 2 i-Tunes on the same computer, one for you and one for your sister. Also back up your songs to a DVD id you have a DVD Burner. I have 20,000 songs backed up on 6 DVD. Back up i-Tunes in another directory then plug in your i-Pod
