Hi There

First of all, you need to be sure you bought the complete thing.
Not only do you need the bat itself( metal plate about half a metre long and about 50mm wide) you will also need the adapter plate that fits to your towbar mounting on the car (this accepts the sqare bar end of the stabiliser plate). You will also need the friction slipper plate (a "U" shaped plate slightly wider than the stabiliser and lined woth nylon).

Fit the towbar adaptor plate utilisong the holes used for connecting the tow ball.
Slide the square end of the stabiliser leaf into the adaptor plate and tighten the lock boly onto the stabiliser.

Release the spring pressure on the stabiliser joint and turn the stabiliser leaf so it lies alongside the A frame of your trailer.

Now mount the slipper plate onto the A frame so that the stabilser plate would have to be lifted approximately 50 mm to fit in to it.

Be aware, you are not allowed to drill holes through the A frame to mount the slipper plate, this is against the law and affects the design weight capabilities of the trailer.

CLAMP the slipper plate to the A frame and make sure everything, including the towball is tight.

Thats it, bobs your cross dressing aunty

regards
