Actually I intend to use that laptop for testing OS and visualization, and checking email and administering a remote system on the go. My budget range is maximum US$ 1500. Are there any other brand or model I should consider within my budget?

Hi. That model did not show up in a Google search. My only comment is that, for the money, 1.6GHz seems pretty slow. You don't mention a GPU but is should be well above average.
