Usually, a psychologically healthy person will occasionally see that life might be meaningless, but will not wish to die for that. Most people enjoy living, even if it has no meaning in the grand scheme of things. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to convey that you cannot base a suicidal wish on a so-called rational basis that life is meaningless. If you feel suicidal, you must be very depressed. You should seek professional help. You need to see a psychotherapist. You might have to take anti-depressants. You might need to change some things in your life that are causing your depression. I hope you can do that and feel better. You will then be able one day either to find that life is not meaningless, or, to say, well, it is meaningless, but what the heck, I want to live it because it is fun...

No, it's not bad to die. Meaningless? This is a question that sparks constant and profound argument. I do not think it's meaningless, but in the grand scheme of the universe, it does seem a bit lackluster and unimportant.

I don't think its bad, everyone will do it anyway so theres no getting away from it. Who knows if its meaningless. If you've brought a ray of sunshine into someones day, no matter how small that ray of sunshine was, you've given meaning to someone and I would like to think that when I peg out, somebody will remember with a smile that I made them feel positive. I'm not scared of dying, slightly apprehensive maybe, but, all in all, who cares, youre either going to hell, heaven, limbo or theres absolute nothingness, in which case your not going to care, cos your dead.
Hope this helps buddy

No. Bad has a moral connotation, death is not a moral concept but a state of none being
However to answer another facet of your question . Surely it is not bad to die if one is in terminal Mental and Physical suffering , Life is just a struggle to avoid pain or the anxiety of pain . Death diminishes this tortured state entirely

It is only the fact that we are on this earth for a limited time that gives our lives any meaning. Could you honestly imagine living forever. It wouldnt matter what you did or didn't do you would still have eternity on your hands.
As it is we have the choice whether to waste our lives or whether to live a fulfilled life to the best of our ability or something in between. Our mortality gives us a time structure around which to plan our lives and make provision for the future. Our immortality is in our children and the legacy we leave for orthers.

It is not bad to leave the physical body. When we finish our work on this earth we can go and hang out in other dimensions, we might even meet Jesus or Elvis or those who left before us. Then maybe we will come back, could be fun. The meaning behind this cycle of birth, disincarnation and rebirth is spiritual evolution.

Dying won't matter to you because you'll be dead.
From a philosophical standpoint. The place I'm at right now is your life is only as meaningful as you make it. To elaborate there is no revealed meaning in the universe for our existance, and nothing one does really matters, but the value of your life is up to yourself. You only get one life to live, and there is always something to live for. That's what keeps me from taking the eternal sleep early.

To kill urself is indeed bad.
But when that happens out of The Creators will it's not bad.
It's not meaningless.
Everything that comes to the world goes out too.
Change is inevitable
