There is no controlled work that suggests homeopathic stress remedies are better than placebo, many conventional therapies do have their downside and at least homeopathy is basically harmless. However a basic homeopathic remedy might be Argentum Nitricum 30c one four times daily.

If things are not going well see your GP. He may be able to arrange counselling or relaxation therapy.

There is no such thing as homoeopathic stress remedies as suggested here - but there are many remedies that are suitable for the individual who is sufferering with stress. This is a common misconception about homoeopathy - that there are remedies for this & remedies for that and this is where the practice suffers from people saying it doesn't work. Homoeopathy works fantastically if the correct remedy for the PERSON with the ailment is selected. It is not something that you can treat yourself - consult a registered practitioner - find your local one by checking with http://www.homeopathy-soh.org/about-homeopathy/find-a-homeopath.aspx .As a registered practitioner, I don't treat any of my family myself as I can't be objective about them - they go to other homoeopaths & have fantastic health as a result. So, in answer to your question, yes - there are definately homoeopathic remedies that can help you cope with stress but the CAUSE is the thing that needs attention too as it maintains your state of dis-ease.

I'm sorry but I strongly believe Homeopathic remedies do not work.
There may be a physcological effect but the science is absolutely clear. It cannot work.
There have also been many clinical studies proving that it does work.

It doesnt work.

St. John's Wort is very good for stress.
Herbal tea as well.
Avoid caffeine as it is a stimulant, and can increase your stress level.

I use aromatherapy scented candles and listen to soothing cds while lying down, concentrating on the music. For the music, I like the nature sounds, Soft piano, etc.
