Yes I feel we as the public should sue.

We lost our cat. He died in my arms on the 15th. That was before we even heard the press release of the recall.

To this day we can't even speak to someone on the 800 numbers. My Hubby looked up the phone number for the plant last Monday. He spoke to a receptionist only to find her very rude. He asked her if she even liked animals and people and her reply was I guess I don't. With that she hung up.

Here we sit with 11 of the cat food pouches, 1 dead cat and our 5 and 4 year old boys thinking they killed their cat due to the fact they fed the cats in the morning.

We only lost one of our cats as the kitten WAS on Iams kitten food.

No amount of money can bring back our cat or take away the pain and hurt this Menu foods has caused us and many other people. This company has to be held accountable for what it has done. They should have went public way back in December instead of keeping it quiet.

Yes. Because the food company knew long before they were forced to disclose it that there was a problem. And I believe if you-business or individual-purposefully harm others---you should be held accountable. Of course, you don't sue with the idea of compensation, but for the idea that this company would be made to be publicly accountable. If the courts make 'em pay, even better. But if they had killed one of your children--a member of your family==as many pets are to those of us who love our pets like family--you'd sue, right? I cried when I read some of the sad stories by pet owners who pet suffered terribly and had to be put down...poor animals.

Absolutely! They knew there was a problem, because pets had died, eating these foods, two weeks before, they even put the warning out, and did the recall, and they didn't say anything. I think alot of people will sue. They should have pulled this food. as soon as they knew of the problem, instead of waiting, while pets died, to do it.

yes I do, their pet was a living creature and I imagine part of their family as well, especially to those that didn't have children, so of course they'd probably sue!...But it's their choice completely whether they do it or not

definately, if it was a child with human food you could sue and most animal lovers see their animals as adoptive children so it's only fair. i would xx
