Im moving out of a student lodging and into a flat and would like to know the key items to start off with (in case I forget something).

just remember to be on time with the rent and if you can't make it call as soon as you know you can't

also remember you have ppl next door keep your noise levels down
also if you see a drip or a repair notify the owner/manager asap
that way it wont turn into a huge problem

make sure you have #'s for the owner/manager home,cell or some kind of emergency # in case something real big happens

if you do these few little things you will have a great first time being a real grown up and CONGRATS

Oh, when I happened to stay alone in a studio-type townhouse, I had with me an electric fan, radio-CD player-cassette, an oven toaster, wall clock and a rice cooker. Then with these items, I slowly purchased the things I still need like a cabinet for my books, a small table and a chair, a set of dishes, a curtain, toiletries, basins for washing the clothes and plants to decorate the room.
With that, I was able to live peacefully and contentedly.
