One day a groups of aliens decided that they come in peace and would like to join alliance with the human race...making themselves known to the world. Would we still have supremists, and racists? Would we still be warring if these aliens told us to stop the nonsense???

What do you think would happen?

After the initial panic it would create and the total upheaval it would cause, might even spawn a war or two but after all of that, yes, it would do our world a lot of good. It would take generations to weed out most of the hatred. Its in our DNA though you cant get rid of all of it. Its human nature.

Meeting aliens would definitely open new doors for the mankind. We will know where we stand in this universe. Whether they turn out superior or inferior than us will have to be seen. Definitely we will learn and gain knowledge from each other and secrets of the universe will also be unveiled.

If they are here, there must be some reason they don't show up at our door with pie and cookies. Maybe they would have more sense than to hang with us. Maybe they know something about our situation that we just wouldn't want to hear. Maybe they carry a zoo of microbes that would ruin our day. Maybe we scare the togas off them. Maybe they are actually swamp gas and Venus descending.

You are assuming that the aliens are by and large superior to us. Probably a safe assumption lol.

I think we would argue about it or reject their offer in the first place and/or try to defeat them militarily.

it would take a long time to settle down..... I wonder what religion would do up against the beliefs of the new arrivals
It would be a truly historic moment
for better or worse
