well!!!I was not able to study due to financial restraints when I was Young.After fighting with the life in a challenging manner could not achieve any support or monitory gains .and now I want to give my best shot to study and prove to my children that I am capable!!!Are their any institutions which can help me to materialise this wierd desire? I don;t want to land up in any oldage homes or ashrams I want to pursue my rest of my life to earn my livlihood with dignity and self sufficiency without approaching my relatives and my children.at the same time I want to earn without hurting anyone in a rigteous manner.is it possible?

It is never too late to learn. Ur desire to lead a life of self respect is ur source of strength. One is old and young in mind only and not by years. Please write to board conducting Matric or higher secondary examination in Bombay or Maharashtra with a copy to Ministry of education in Maharashtra and they will guide u. I think there must be schools for Senior Citizens as govt. is encouraging education for the elderly people. Once u qualify Matric or higher secondary then correspondence courses are available for everyone for studies. My uncle also left his studies after doing inter in Pakistan and after crossing 60 years of age, he was inspired by my life to pursue his studies as I was working as well as studying privately as I am a woman candidate. He did Adib Fazil ( Urdu) and appeared in BA (with only english and one more subject) in Punjab University, Chandigarh. At 66 he joined Law College, Chandigarh and qualified as a lawyer and became member of Bar, Pb.& Haryana High Court. Just find out about Board Exam. from Office of Board of Education, Bombay and go ahead. Dream Big and be Big, all the best to u.

Cookery schools are available but your suitability to it, age wise and financially is doubtful.
The self respect you hold for yourself is commendable.
Gardening Willl be more suitable for you. Lot of opportunities are available in and around the city. A healthy and paying job. That will give you a calm mind and time to pray .
Next best will be baby sitting. Today baby sitters who also
be helpful in house hold chorus is in demand. You can combine these three as a full time job. Number of consultants and job exchanges run in and around the city. A good consultant will be able to help you out. You can still continue your studies through correspondence., form IGNOU.
