What do people use webcams for, apart from jacking off and flashing their genitals? ....just curious

Webcams can be used for video conferencing so you can see who you are talking to. They can also be used to create videos and video blogging like people upload on sites like YouTube.

Webcams can also be set to record video and take time lapse snapshots so you can see who has been messing around in your room, etc.

Video games also use webcams to interact with things on screen as if you were in the game or take pictures of your face to use on a character.
