there is no procedure to it, put it in a bag and then take it on the plane with you, and keep it safe..

there are no restrictions on whether you can take a laptop..

but make sure you have the right plug converter to whereever you are going..

Do you mean the procedure to access the internet from abroad? The best way is to find a Starbucks or somewhere with wireless Internet access, you should be able to use your laptop's wireless to log in (for a fee).

I travel with mine as hand luggage. I have had no problems taking it to Uzbekistan and Uganda. But in Uzbekistan they were really paranoid about discs for security reasons, especially leaving the country. Depends where you are going. Beware of jobs that say you can get home internet access and then you go there and find it'll cost half your wages.
